fur from companion animals, toys, flowers, and roses 2022
Animal fur is a symbol of both beauty and love. However, fur shed by animals is also a source of annoyance for humans, and in Korea, it is the main reason why people abandon their pets. For this work, I asked several people to collect their pet’s fur for an entire year. By touching and clumping together this fur, the participants and I created “Animal Christmas Wreaths” that can be hung in the home.
